The Givi A750 Universal Fairing on the SV650

The Givi A750 windscreen / fairing is a wonderful little shield that fits the SV650 quite nicely.  The advantage to using the Givi A750 is due to the SV's offset tachometer.  Many 4 point mounts interfere with the view of the tach on the SV but the Givi only mounts only to the headlamp bolts.  This makes for a clean view of the instruments.  The A750 comes in  a variety of colors.

As you can see the bracket bolts up behind the headlamp bracket.  All you have to do is loosen up the bolts and slide the bracket in place.  Also note the positioning pin above the headlamp bracket that keeps the screen in place.

The box arrives as shown.  The items are well protected.  The hardware appears to be stainless steel.

The left bracket is pretty close to the tach assembly so make sure you have 3/8 to 1/2 inch clearance.

The cockpit view is completely unobstructed by the fairing.

I am very happy with the shield.  Despite its small size it keeps the wind off me, including my head.  Bugs now are deflected away from me which is what I really wanted.  The shield also helps keep some wind off my hands which was an unexpected bonus!  I have heard some people complain that it doesn't give enough wind protection but I bought it for its looks and functionality and for my 5'-8" body it works great.
