I have been involved with the Basset Hounds for nearly 30 yrs now ,first just as pets when my children were growing up.then we moved and they had passed on so we didn't have a dog for quit a number of years what with children going through high school etc there were other things to think about.
However one day I became sick and had to take time out from working and my husband thought well my birthday was coming up he'll get me a pup to keep me company "well that was the start of it wasnt it"
A friend said to me one day why don't you come out and have look at the dog show you may think about putting 'Cloe" in next time, which I did and haven't stopped showing since.
I have taken 7 Basset Hounds through to there titles now with another two baby bitches making themsevles known in the ring already with baby in groups for each of them I am so proud that I have bred these two girls and hope they can carry on the tradition and go through to they titles .
