Charlotte caught smoking

June 7, 2003 - According to Imaginechina.net, Charlotte spent a week-end in Paris for Andrea's birthday. She arrived Saturday morning in her mother's flat, where she went to eat at the restaurant 'L'Esplanade' with a friend. Afterwards, she went to a park to work on her lessons and bought a gift for her brother at the store 'Le Bon Marché'. To see pictures, click here.

CSIJ-A Barbizon

September 27-29, 2002 - Charlotte participated in yet another equestrian this event this summer. She rode both Dumba and Folka during the competition. But, judging by the results, Folka hasn't been to good to her. Her best results have, on average, occured while she competeted on Dumba. Charlotte placed was 12th this time around.

Bois Le Roi Jumping

September 17, 2002 - Looking more relaxed than usual, Charlotte and her family waved to the flashing camera's before taking part in this show jumping tournament. Charlotte looked spectacular in her black coat, dark green t-shirt and grey cashmere scarf. After spending almost the entire summer training, Charlotte was able to claim the 7th place spot this year.

Horse Auction

September 7, 2002 - The entire Monegasque was spotted at the anual Bois Le Roi horse auction organizd by Marcel Rozier, the father of Thierry. Charlotte looked absolutely stunning in her casual attire. This is probably her best appearence this year. Hello! Magazine put it best when they said "and, as usual, the young royals stole the focus from the horses."

Shopping

August 5, 2002 - Two days after Charlotte's sweet sixteen, the birthday girl and her mother were spotted shopping in St. Remy de Provence. This is the same place Princess Caroling brought her children to live after the untimely death of her second husband, Stefano Casiraghi. Not only is this the city where Charlotte grew up, but this is where she first learned how to ride.

Mother and daughter were seen walking down the streets, talking amongst one another and thoroughly enjoying each other's company.

Sweet Sixteen

August 3, 2002 - On this day, exactly 16 years ago, Princess Caroline gave birth to her second child; a beautiful girl named Charlotte Marie Pomeline Casiraghi. Ever since, Charlotte has captured headlines all over the world with her stunning looks that she inherited from her mother and her great fashion sense. Happy 16th birthday Charlotte!

Holiday

July 6, 2002 - Charlotte and her entire family went on their first holiday this summer on their boat PACHA III. They seemed to have sailed down the Italian coast once again, this time setting anchor at Sardinia, Italy.

While her two brothers were outhaving fun in the water, Charlotte stayed dry on the deck reading Une Vie, a book written by Guy de Maupassant. It looks as if this is required reading for her school.

I love her bathing suit this year. Turquoise is probably the hottest color this summer, and she looks great in it.

CSIJ Le Touquet

June 28 – 30, 2002 – Charlotte competed in this event this month. Her coach, Thierry Rozier, was there during all of her events coaching her on. I don’t have much information about this event at the moment. But, one thing I do know is that Charlotte seems to be losing a lot of weight. She looked very skinny in the photos from this event, and by looking at her face you can note the difference. I hope that she doesn’t lose any more weight, she looks great the way she is.

On the last day of competition, Charlotte fell of Dumba, the horse she was competing on. It looked pretty bad, and she seems to have injured her jaw, which she was cradling right after the fall. Her older brother Andrea and coach Thierry Rozier rushed to her side to comfort her soon after. Click here to see a picture of the fall and here for a collage.

I just learned from Laura from FCC that Charlotte did indeed injure her mouth pretty badly, She chipped a tooth in that fall and went to the dentist with her mother on July 1, 2002 to get it fixed.

Jump Compiegne

May 31 - June 2, 2002 – Another one of Charlotte’s numerous equestrian events this year. Charlotte represented Monaco and rode her horses Folka and Dumba. She competed in this event on all three days, getting plenty of encouragement from her coach Thierry Rozier who was there with her.

On the 31, Charlotte placed 6 out of 20 riders. On the 1, Charlotte competed in an event with Sandrine Roussel *and* Val. Charlotte placed right below Sandrine, who beat her out for the ninth position (CC took 10). And, amazingly, Charlotte did a better job than Valentine, who didn't even place (she was eliminated). But, today, Valentine placed 1st when Charlotte tied for 5th (Sandrine took 2nd in this event). In the second event of the day, Valentine beat Charlotte yet again, placing sixth while CC took 11 (Sandrine was eliminated). This is probably one of Charlotte's best events so far this year.

Formula One Grand Prix

May 23-26, 2002 – Charlotte, along with all of her other family members, attended the annual Monaco Grand Prix. She was present during three out of the fours days (like she is every year). Wearing a white ensemble this year, Charlotte looked absolutely stunning. She was able to watch the racers zoom by in the families VIP booth, which is located right above the platform where the awards are handed out.

CSI Chantilly

Charlotte competed in this event along with Athina Onassis Roussel. There is little known about this event at the moment, but I will try to post Charlotte's results and a picture ASAP!

Jump Bost

May 4, 2002 - Charlotte Casiraghi competed in Jump Bost today on her mare Folka, ranking at number 36 out of 48 riders with a time of 79.61 and recieving 9 penalties. And, as usual, she represented Monaco, with her sponsor being Marionnaud. Though her results were not that great, she appeared very youthful and happy throughout the day, as you can see in the picture above. Also there during the competion was Athina Onassis Roussel, who Charlotte actually conversed with sometime during the day =)

Jumping International de Monte-Carlo

April 25, 2002 - Riding her new horse Folka, Charlotte Casiraghi competed in this jumping competition, as expected, with her family rooting her on in the stands. She competed in the Friends Cup 1m10 - 2 phases, where she placed 2nd out of 14 riders. Looks like our Charlotte is getting a little bit more focoused on her equestrian career, doesn't it?

Jumping Show

March 25, 2002 - For the first time this year, Charlotte competed in the CSI Juniors et Enfants, Lacanau . Riding what looked to be her new horse Folka, Charlotte looked gorgeous in her jockey uniform made by Marionnaud (notice the "M" on her uniform). Not only was Charlotte competing in the show, she was also spotted conversing with yet another unidentified male.

Charlotte was not the only jet-setter at the event. Other jumpers were Valentine Pozzo di Borgo and Sandrine Roussel. Charlotte participated in the Ep 3 Juniors B on the 22 of March (she placed 41), Ep 7 Juniors B on the 23 (placing 6), and the Ep 14 Juniors B on the 24 (coming in at number 8).

After the show, Charlotte was clad wearing her casual outfit, which consisted of a pair of jeans, a denim jacket, and a dark blue shirt with a charcoal sweater wrapped around her shoulders.

Charlotte In Paris

March 11, 2002 - Yet again, Charlotte attended another equestrian event in the beautiful French capital. She (along with Valentine Pozzo di Borgo, Marcel Rozier, and Thierry Rozier) watched the International Horse Jumping Show in the stands along with many other spectators. Wearing all black, a gorgeous choker (do you see it around her neck =)) and sporting her infamous suede bag, Charlotte looked absolutely stunning.

Zurs Ski Trip

February 14, 2002 - Charlotte was photographed here during a family holiday in the Austrian ski resort of Zurs. She spent time there with all her family, perfecting her snowboarding and skiing skills. Photgraphed with Charlotte was 22 year-old Hubertus Herring-Frankensdorf, a man many believe to be Charlotte's boyfriend. He and his family are one of Austria's elite and are distantly related to Queen Margrethe of Denmark.

Charlotte with David Alexis

February 12, 2002 - I bet many of you boys out there are wondering who the heck this guy is, am I right? Well, don't worry, nothing is official yet. His name is David Alexis. He is 21 years old and is the son of a French Industrialist, whose family has been close to the Grimaldi's for quite some time. On Monday (02/12/02) or Tuesday (02/13/02) David drove Charlotte to Paris in his silver Volkswagen. There, they had lunch together and were seen chatting it up with one another. They then headed into a store which specializes in music and videos (the store name is Fnac) and purchased a few items.

I really wonder who this David Alexis is. He is pretty cute, don't you think? LOL, I belive that he is the same exact guy that was spotted with Charlotte on the balcony durring the Formula One Grand Prix de Monaco.

There, now you guys can compare for yourself. =)

Grand Prix d'Amerique

January 27, 2002 - Charlotte attended the 81 edition of this famous carriage race, where the informally attired riding enthusiast was definitely in her element. Accompanying her to the event were Valentine Pozzo di Borgo (many claim that she is Charlotte's best friend) and Thierry Rozier. Italian at heart, Charlotte rooted for Gian Paolo Minucci and his mare Vareene, who won in the end.

Grand Prix d'Amerique Gala

January 26 2002 - Charlotte, Princess Caroline and Prince Ernt attended the Grand Prix d'Amérique gala in Paris'a town hall. The occasion was a funraiser for the international medical charity Médecins du monde, which literally means doctors of the world. Among the 500 invited were the Pozzo di Borgo and Marcel families, which are apart of Charlotte's elite social circle. Though Charlotte appeared serious, dressed in an elegant floor-length Chanel gown made of velvet, she behaved prefectly, chatting with guests alongside Princess Caroline and her stpefather.

Charlotte In Her First Horse Show

Febuary 10 2002 - Charlotte entered her first horse show of the season. By her side was Thierry Rozier, her trainer, and an unidentified woman. Little is known about this show except that she rode on her mare Folka.

Mikimoto Party

December 6, 2002 - Charlotte and her family (Princess Caoline and Andrea) attended the Mikimoto Princess Grace Jewel Collection, which was held in Hotel Pozzo di Borgo. There, Charlotte was persuaded into singing a few lines of a song with Dorothy Umu Koro, who was the entertainer of the night. Many were surprised that she was even up on the stage and speculated that Charlotte might follow in the footsteps of her Aunt Stephanie and become a pop singer (which I think is highly unlikely =]). Her attire consisted of a Chanel outfit (a mesh-like outershirt with black slacks and a belt) and a beige handbag.
