Local Kids To Clean Up....

Some local children have been hired to clean up our neighbourhood. You'll start to see more cleaning around the ground of the condominium this summer. 

Chris DeSouza has volunteered to supervise the kids. A notice was circulated last month asking for children between the ages of 10 to 14 years, and wanted to earn a little spending money and keep our community clean.

They had to bring a letter of permission from their parents and a letter, written by themselves, showing why they should be hired. Each one did very well during the interviews.

Starting Monday, July 15th, the kids pick up their supplies and return them by the following Sunday. They set their own schedule for picking up the garbage, but they have to finish by the following Sunday. Each kid gets two weeks.

So hats off and a well done to each of them for their community pride and hard work.
