Fujitaka is Sakura's otoosan (father). He's so nice and is a college professor. Sakura likes him A LOT. DAISUKI~! He's very popular in his university, too. The students of Tomoeda Elementary (especially Li-kun) are absolutely fascinated with him when he taught there one day.
Not much is revealed about Fujitaka...Actually, he doesn't make a lot of appearances in the series.
Nadesico was Sakura and Touya's mother. She died when Sakura was a little kid...when she was 3 years old, if I'm not mistaken. She was a very beautiful model and met Fujitaka when she was only in high school. They were married soon after.
I think Nadesico's family (especially Sonomi-san) were the only ones who didn't like Fujitaka. It's mainly because of their marriage. I mean, she WAS just 16 then... and, also the age difference. Fujitaka was to be a teacher, and Nadesico a student (Well, it surely doesn't beat Rika and Terada-sensei!) But...we can't actually blame the two...They're in love! Besides... (spoiler!) when Fujitaka was still planning to propose to her, Nadesico WAS the one to take it out into the open! Yup, ladies and gentlemen, Nadesico-san proposed^_^
Dispite her looks, she's very clusmy and not good at sports. But she's good at the piano, though. She even composed a piece. We see Touya play it in the 3rd season in the series.
Nadesico is a very gentle mother. She's also very thoughtful. She remembers to give her grandad and other relatives (especially Sonomi-san. I think she's her fave cousin) gifts on almost every occasion.
Her favorite flowers are the sakura (cherry blossoms), touya (peach blossoms) and the wisteria. Her special ability is that she can fall asleep anywhere. Her maiden name was Nadeshiko Amamiya.
Back to Fujitaka: I really don't want to give away spoilers but too bad. Fujitaka's actually one of the incarnations of Clow Reed, but he doesn't know that until very much later in the series. That power allows him to sense danger (though this was shown only once), and to see Nadesico.
