Tomoeda is where the main plot takes place. I'm still asking around if it actually exists. It's supposedly somewhere in Tokyo (remember that the last Judgement takes place in Tokyo Tower, plus Sakura-tachi went there in episode 40).

The Kinomoto residence is a typical Japanese home. It's not exactly big, but it's comfortable, especially for 3 people (add one guardian beast, plus a frequent visitor who has a bottomless stomach). It's pretty close to Tomoeda Shougakkou (Sakura just skates or runs to school). And on the way, there's a strip of sakura trees^^

Tomoeda Shougakkou (elementary school) is the one which Sakura, Tomoyo, Syaoran-kun, Meiling, and later Eriol attend. If I'm not mistaken, it is a pretty exclusive school, judging by its facilities.

Seijou Koukou (high school) is where Touya, Yukito, and later Nakuru, attend. It's just beside Tomoeda Elementary School. Also judging from the uniform and activities, it seems to be an exclusive school.

Penguin Park - Ah, yes...The group's favorite park! It's got swings, a King Penguin slide, with matching little penguins around it. This is close to Sakura's home, and she passes by there on the way home. It is (curiously) quite frequently "attacked" by Clow Cards. Even Eriol used it LOTS of times on Sakura. It makes an encore in the 2nd movie.

The Twin Bells Store is owned by the clumsy Matsumoto Maki. It's a cozy little store that sells stuffed toys, brooches, cards, et cetera. It opens on episode 5, with the girls (Sakura, Tomoyo, Naoko, Rika and Chiharu) helping Maki out.

The Daidouji residence...is a mansion, actually. It's a rarity for the VERY rich in Tokyo. I can say nothing more...except that IT... IS... HUGE... It has to be pretty close to Syaoran's apartment since Meiling ran all the way there once.

Tsukihimine Jinja (shrine) is where Mizuki-san stays, before she leaves and when she arrives in Japan. There's this old sakura tree there. It's spirit has quite some power. It's where The Return got energy (plus the full moon) to attack Sakura, and Sakura had used the same tree to use Return (and not be drained of her own energy) in ep 69.

Sakura passes by this shrine on the way to school. I believe it is also close to Yukito's house. I think this is the closest to the Sakura-gumi's homes, since they see each other there on festivals and such (I mean, you CAN go to other shrines---Tokyo has lots---but they meet there, anyway). And...I believe it's also near Tokyo Tower, since Sakura *jumped* (using Jump, of course) all the way there. What's more, Syaoran, Cerberus and Tomoyo *watched* from the jinja what takes place in the Tower!

Syaoran's apartment is a typical apartment...I really can't say much about it...Ummm...Wei lives with Syaoran-kun there, and later, so does Meiling. Sakura and Tomoyo visit them on a New Year in season 3.

Hong Kong, as EVERYBODY knows, exists southeast of China. This is where Syaoran-kun, and the rest of the Li's live. But, no, this is not where Clow Reed lived. It was in China. The clan just moved later. Anyways, judging from its location, HK is slightly warmer than Japan. That would explain why Syaoran-kun gets cold easily.

Sakura, Tomoyo, Touya and Yukito take a trip to Hong Kong in Movie 1. They run into Meiling and Syaoran, and they later stay in the Li Mansion, meeting Yelan and Syaoran's sisters.

Eriol's house is the exact same one that Clow Reed lived in ages ago, with the red leather chair still intact. Nakuru and Spinnel live there with him. It stands on top of a hill. It's fairly big, and the design is old but classic. Of course, I mean, it IS old, right? That makes it perfect for shooting Nakuru's film (for a cultural festival at Seijou) in episode 65. That was the first time the Sakura-gumi arrive there. The next time they go there is in episode 70, when Eriol does some explaining. In the 2nd movie, it was demolished (aww....) to give way for the new amusement park.

Tokyo Tower is one of Japan's landmarks. It's in Tokyo (like, duh), the capital of Japan. It appears several times in Sakura's dreams. The Sakura-gumi goes there in episode 40. They caught The Dream in one of its elevators^^ This is also where the Final Judgement takes place.
