A Call for Urgent Action!

According to UN sources, 120,000 children in Afghanistan are
now facing the danger of starvation

We continue to address our plea for a three-day humanitarian ceasefire.

Our voices are low but if we put our voices together, they'll be heard!

Re: A plea for a humanitarian ceasefire
before the arrival of a harsh cold winter!

In order to deliver humanitarian aid so Afghan children can
survive the harsh cold winter, we urge you to make an appeal
for a three-day humanitarian ceasefire before the arrival of
winter!
************************************************************

While the air raids still continued in Afghanistan, UNICEF
and WHO jointly carried out their vaccination program.
News sources have reported that many humanitarian aid
operations have been carried out without problems.

But in reality many young children have lost their lives
due to hunger and cold. The continued bombing on top of
the famine caused by the drought and prolonged civil
conflict have hampered aid operations. The number of small
bodies among the dead continues to increase day by day.

Many Afghan mothers have no way to save their children.
All they can do is just hold their little ones in their
arms as their bodies get cold....

Can we only listen to the news without doing anything to
save them from this fate?

No, we don't have to do that.
So we urge the world to make a plea for a three-day
humanitarian ceasefire.

It's getting colder and colder in Afghanistan.
Approximately 6 million people in Afghanistan are in need
of aid. If such need fails to be met, it is estimated
that 900,000 people will starve to death.

The war must end as soon as possible to bring peace back
to the land of Afghanistan. That's what all of us wish
for.

A three-day humanitarian ceasefire.
What can be achieved in such a short time?

In Afghanistan the U.S. led air strikes have been the
direct cause of hindrance to humanitarian operations.
There have been humanitarian ceasefires in past wars.
A ceasefire can realize the delivery of relief
supplies through the good will of the world to a number
of towns and villages across Afghanistan that are
otherwise difficult to reach.

The lives of many children living with the fear of
death can be saved at this very moment!!

Act now!!
Ask the world leaders!!

Our voices are low, but if we all put our voices
together, they will be heard.

If the necessary supplies are not delivered before
the arrival of the harsh cold winter, it will be too
late. An urgent ceasefire must be realized.

Spread this word among as many people as possible.
Send a message to your friends, message boards and
mailing lists.
Send a message to radio stations, TV stations and
newspapers.

Let's make our voices heard.

For the precious lives of children.
