CATHERINE CROWE

She has recorded two critically acclaimed albums "This Ancient Fabric" and "Dark is the Colour" and played at major folk and Celtic Festivals across North America. After discovering that the Celts developed this art around 300 BC, she has pursued studies in archaeology and folklore that inform her work in the visual arts creating uniquely culutral pieces of personal adornment. She has been teaching enamelling, displaying her work and performing at various venues including the Celtic College and Celtic Roots Festival in Goderich, Ontario, Irish Fest Summer School in Milwaukee, Dublin Irish Festival in Ohio, Catskills Irish Arts Week in East Durham, NY and Celtic Women International Conferences.
