Once upon a crime.

Love lean regime

Outsider won't take our girls. They can't. We won't allow this to happen. Oh no, we won’t. That is for their good, they can't leave in the outside world. They are not ready. That world is so tough on unprepared people. They eat you in one single mouth. They broke you. If you don't do what they expect you to do, they broke you and trash you out. We have to be hard on them so they learn; yes they learn that love is a myth. No one loves you but us. They will thank us later on when they will be release. They will remember that they suffer so less inside our house than when they had to go. No, outsiders won't come here. No, our realm is well guarded. When you got five heirs, you can't let anyone approaching them. We are a bit roughs, sometimes, but that is for their good. Yes, it is. That will render them more resistant to the invaders when they will come.

We were so happy to find out our Kasha. Ellen tried to hide her from us somewhere in her neighborhood. But we are so superior of her, aren't we? WE are the true daughter. She is just the one we lent a hand to.

So, it was not hard to notice she was tense and we paid more attention to who she was with. We never brought the girls in her presence. Her husband is a danger for little girls. Otherwise, he would have had girls. The fact they had only boy told us it was not wise to bring the girls with us. So we preserved them. We saw the uncomforted she was having in front of that woman and we desired know more of it.

One day, there she was, strolling up the street with a balloon. Those so horrible things infected. We sneaked behind. We saw how she was pampered, spoiled in artistic possibilities, singing songs. That was too much for us to bear.

So we watched her manners and schedule and planned carefully.

It was hard for us to get into the house. The parents were keeping her safe, like if she was a diamond. We tried more than once to enter. Till that morning, when the mock-up father went out without closing the door behind him. We hesitated, and we got in. No one. We waited. The door was locked from outside. So we stayed put, trying to use things we need without leaving any trace. We knew when they were normally expected. So we watched tv, waiting, still waiting. Then we got into the entry wardrobe. We kneeled in the midst of all the objects they packed in there.

We took her. We hoped that we would be able to reform her. We had to save her from that peril. We had to teach her to get the right value. At that age, we knew they are more of a puppy than human.

We left her in the barn, into the trunk. We did it previously. We recognized it is hazardous. At least once, we pushed up the lid to discover that the chosen one was no more than an empty doll. But that is the only ways.

We opened the trunk of the car that morning, and there she was our daughter.

She was filthy and weak after that deserved punishment, but she was there, alive and untouched. She was wearing the braids you liked to see them with. Oh, my love, you would have been proud to see her when she got out.

We apologize for the days she had to pass in the trunk, but as we explained to her, it was to teach her to no more escape.

"You were not obligated to escape for me to forgive you." We said to her.

She was so lost. That brief time outside our tight circle made her forgot all our training. The one we painstakingly gave her. All, with no exception. She was even had forget the name and the good to observe with Ilta. We were displeased by it, but she was there, at least. We ordered to the sisters to acclaim her. Kasha was back. They were polite like we like them to be.

Though we had to make her took a bath and washed her hair. And, you know, we always kept the sisters together, so it was all a task to undress all of them. Bath is their favorite time ever. Though, they often complained about the temperature of the water. Too hot they say. So that time, we only filled it with cold water. They quickly understood that complaining was a waste of time and energy.

"See? In the old time, that is how they were taking a bath. Now that you know what it is, you will appreciate when we spend money at filling you up a warm bath." We explained.

We love when they answer like a choral "Yes Mother!" all together. That is something we cherished.

We always filled it with just the exact temperature it should be. We are not stupid. But our quints are so capricious sometimes. The only one not complaining was Kasha, of course. She was having a horrified look over to her sisters.

"You are all make from the same dough. Stop looking at them that way or we will pierce your eyes." We whispered to her ears, taking the teddy bear aside and pulling out the buttons that he has for pretended eyes.

What is difficult is that we found back Kasha only a month ago and she just began to act according to our desire. We ignore what the outside world did to them. They are so different each time we brought them back home. But at least, the family was complete that day.

We tried so often to find her a replacement. But all the little girls we tried were defective. So we trashed them. Why would we keep them if they were just bringing trouble, fomenting for a revolution? We needed a safe way to get ride of them. And it was simply to abandon them somewhere in the forest, so they learned what it is to be lost.:To be unwanted.

We were fond of coming back to checked upon them. We are not heartless. Unfortunately, they were weak. The one we found, we buried. Other where no more seen from us.

But now, we have brought Kasha, the original one back. Our girls are very enthusiastic. We loved to see how effective they are now that they are completed. They are soon to be teenagers. We will have to protect them more. They will have to fear men. We have to be more assertive in our teaching, yes. We ought to be. Their minds can still be easily manipulated. And since Kasha is corrupted, we had to find a way to cleanse her from the outside. So we left her, strapped to the commode, when we left for mother’s house. We gave her some medication. So she would lose that taste of adventure.

On route to mother place, Kamla made us turn mad. We saw Ilta beating her and we decided to hide her in the garbage can time Ilta calm down.

When Ilta went away, we called Kamla back. At first she didn't answered. Then we turns, saying that she will be alone if she was not there in five seconds. We counted out loud, but at three, she was aside her sisters so we walk at Mother's place.

Mother was not happy to see us. She kept comparing us with Ellen. She thought someone would got on us to take our daughter. We went after she started shouting to a stranger in the alley. We gather the girls and flew.

When we came back, Kasha seemed healed, but not for long. We caught them in another tentative to escape, but in group. We made things so they feared us a bit more.

We encaged them separately for a whole day, or were it more? Time is of such no importance. We were disappointed by it, highly irritated. Furthermore when, after we deliver them from their confinement, thay attempted again. That time, we made them takes a rank and we walk back and forth, from and for in front of them, arms crossed on our chest.

"Now, someone her is very angry and is mature enough to have control on us…" We began.

The girls showed guilty faces. They knew they had to be punished. But we were not as usual. We had to adapt to the new situation. The phone rang, interrupting us that could be valuable information; we had to leave the girls. We shooed them upstairs and we locked them up in their room.

"Think. We'll be back." And we answered.

That was mother. She said they found one of our girls in a garbage can under her apartment. We argued that it was impossible, the five were there.

So Mother cried, but we confirmed they were all there. We had to hang up before the invader could have too much from us. They taped every single phone call made by superior human being like us. They wait. They want to have the recipe to destroy the earth. And I am the guardian. Our girls will be the guardians at their turn.

We almost forgot the girls till we heard them giggle. We climb and we entered back in the room. "Now, have you chosen an ambassador? One that will allow the group to be absolved of all the sins you made?"

Kamla walked in front with a smile, as usual. Since we were back from Mother's place, she seemed to progress in a glutton for punishment. We thought that it would taught no more to the girls if we were using her. We watched them and we made a quick and logical decision. We refused to punish Kamla. The lesson will be better learned if we punished innocent instead of the guilty one. We thus eliminated Kasha and Kamla, our more likely leaders in any circumstances. So we took Kaia, the soft Kaia. We directed the girls downstairs, in the kitchen.

There are broad logs, there, where we do hang herbs to dry. We made a noose with a thing rope. We pulled a chair and asked Kaia to climb on it. Courageous Kaia, she is a fighter like we are. We never complained and always complied to Mother. We put her neck in the middle of the noose. The other sisters got agitated, and we shouted to have silence for the demonstration would be more appropriate that way.

So we delicately pushed the chair to tiptoe. Kaia submitted to the exercise brilliantly. We thought to reward her later for it.

We monitored it so we achieve the lesson without taking Kaia’s life.

Finding a new replacement for her as well traumatizing the girls would be difficult. We still got to educate Kasha, after all. And we are so intelligent. So she hanged there a moment, and we cut the rope. She felled face first on the ground. We were splashed with some blood of her.

“Stop it, Kaia, you shall not bleed!” We order, but she kept doing it.

That is when we reconsidered the repayment since Kaia started whining. We expected that she would got hurt, so we thrown her a handkerchief. But when the blood got more abundant, we pushed her out the house, into the snow.

"Put your face in the blanket…" We said. "That will freeze it up. We'll let you in when it will be done.

Our gaze switched to the other ones. Under Kara, there was a pond. She had urinated. So we put her in the cupboard while the sisters cleaned up, blood and other. They were sent to their room subsequent to that.

We watched Kaia vigilantly till she raised her head from the snow. We let her enter back and order her to wash her face up now.

At the dinner, we watched the TV.

Kaia was reunited whit the rest of the group. She was broken, but still alive and no more complaining.

We saw, suddenly, a big picture of Kasha on the screen. The sound was off, but Kala went to raise it up.

That really upset Kasha. She was all upside down. "But I am not dead, I am not." She was repeating. That irritated us.

"See what you've done?" We growled.

Kara ran into the cupboard.

"Won't you ever learn anything?" We shouted."Everybody in the room!!!"

And they went there, we locked the door and sit behind it in the hallway, our back leaning on it.

We opened a bottle. We had to forget all they made us do. We thought a moment they did not deserve us.

We drank more. The liquid was so warm into our throat; warm into our chest, burning our stomach.

Outsiders can't take them. They are still uneducated beasts. We'll tame them. We are the one that has to done it. We have been assigned to this, although we didn't know the ways nor the means: We knew the ends and it suffice to us. The duty will be accomplished. We will succeed. We always did.
