Christopher Phillips

CFCIE English Specialist of Academic year of 2003 to 2003 I SCIC of Guangxi, China

Christopher Phillips loves university life so much that he simply refuses to leave. After graduating from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick (English and Philosophy) he lived in the Rockies for a little while before being drawn to the creative writing programs at the University of Victoria. From here he continued west to Australia, where he completed a Masters degree in Philosophy and met his soon-to-be wife, Victoria Farmer. After a short stint flying around Canada managing a fine art firm, Chris took the plunge and began teaching Writing and Communications in Nanning, Guangxi in 2002. Chris has published two short stories, one academic article, picked up a TESL certification and bicycled across Canada along the way. He is currently registered as an official IELTS examiner in Nanning and will be returning to SCIC in 2003-4.
