Originally I taught high school physical education and Canadian
history. I love all sports and have many interests including:
French, Spanish, world religions, and woodcarving. I was elected
to the local Board of Education for nine years [also served
as chair of the board]. I have volunteered with the Red Cross,
Royal Life Saving Society, World Nordic Championships. For
fourteen years ESL students from around the world have allowed
me to travel through their words and hearts. Now I look forward
to "stepping into their shoes" and travelling like
my TEF/SL graduates do, to China, sharing my skills and hopefully
learning about their country and their people.
