
John Phelan is a professor at the Queen's University School of Business, specifically in the MBA and executive MBA program. In addition to his work with the graduate school, Mr. Phelan also teaches OB (organizational behaviour) at the undergraduate level as well as a plethora of other commerce courses. Along with his teaching duties, Mr. Phelan is also employed as a scout and mental health advisor with the Ottawa Senators. A gracious OVERTIME guest, Mr. Phelan provided insight into the Senators organization, giving an insider's view to the Alexei Yashin squabble and assorted other issues surrounding the team. Recently, Mr. Phelan was named the mental health trainer to the Canadian entry at the 2001 World Championships of Hockey.
