OVERTIME Airs Season Finale
This last Wednesday Overtime went on the air for the last time this school semester. In what turned out to be one of the best shows of the year, the Overtime Gurus discussed the NHL playoffs, took calls and gave away their last Elixer prize. Each Guru then explained what they were doing for the summer. Dan Vertlieb had the most interesting summer job hopefully working for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League. Sean Diamond followed Dan and when he began to explain his summer plans, he was challenged, as always, by Eric Sherkin about the importance of what he was saying. Then, as always, Sean ignored Eric and continued to say that he will be refereeing In-Line Hockey and working at a location TBA in Toronto. Eric finished off by drawing laughs from everyone announcing his plan to stay in Kingston over the summer. In all the Gurus were very excited and pleased with their season finale and look forward to returning in September and providing more insiteful and entertaining insite into the wide world of sports as well as broadcasting the Queen's Golden Gael Football games. The Overtime Gurus would like to thank you the listeners for tuning in every Wednesday night this semester, calling in and participating in lively discussion. Please tune in again for our new show in September, the time slot is still to be announced but will be posted on this Website as soon as the information is released.
