Surgeries
GP surgeries are by appointment only.
Appointments are usually available between:
08:30 and 11:00 12:00
and 13:00
15:30
and 18:00
Patients
with urgent problems can usually be seen the same day. There is a surgery
on Saturdays from 09:00 until 10:30 for urgent problems. Practice
Nurses Practice nurses also offer their own surgeries, offering
the following services: Health checks for new patients
Minor illness advice and simple dressings Blood pressure checks and blood
tests Cervical smear tests Immunisation for children or holidays
General health advice, including weight, diet, smoking and contraception
Ear syringing
District Nurses
District nurses offer a clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday morning.
Physiotherapist Appointments
are made with the physio after a doctor has recommended this treatment.
Dietician You can be referred to a dietician at
the practice after a doctor or nurse has recommended this. Minor
Surgery The practice is able to remove a wide range of skin lumps,
warts and moles. You will need to see a doctor or nurse first to discuss this
treatment. |
