If the doctor
is prescribing regular medication, repeat prescriptions can be obtained by:
1) handing in the prescription counterfoil (the right hand page of the prescription)
2) by phoning the surgery between 11.00am and 4.30pm
Presciptions are ready for collection at 4.00pm on the day after request.
This allows the doctors time for essential checks.
The right hand side of the presciption also has your ‘review date’. This
is the time at which the doctor would like to see you to review your treatment.
· If you require medication which the doctor has not put on your list
of repeat medication, the receptionist will have to request this for you.
The doctor may want to speak to you or may ask you to make an appointment
to review your medication.
