Jonathan Berger's Poetry: Poem of the Day |
I suspect I believe all evidence points to the fact it has come to my attention it is the ABSOLUTE UNDENIABLE reality of the situation that my calves are getting bigger. No – really! They are, at present, thirty percent larger than they were yesterday – and that's twice the size of the day before. You hear me? My calves are growing. They're outta site! You can't stop them no matter how hard you try. My calves are spreading exponentially, by leaps and twists they're bigger than an elephant's fascist fist! And like that, they're taking over more and more of the surrounding environs. My calves have just annexed my feet as part of their domain, and soon, I think, they'll have conquered my knees. I can only hope my crotch can maintain a proper defence. My calves are growing and expanding, demanding more of me. They require lunches and gifts, and fees. My calves are overpoweringly massively extraordinarily large. My calves are growing… and growing… and growing… and I think I like it. |
