| Jonathan Berger's Poetry: Poem of the Day |
| POEM WHILE RUNNING AWAY I know you’ve had four hours sleep, and I know you’ve got better things to do, and I know that you need time not to think, and I know you’re really really busy... And I know you don’t know my full name, and I know you couldn’t care less about it. I know you’ve got a boyfriend in every major city, and I know all these thoughts must make you nauseous. And... and I know I’m too short, and I know I’m not successful enough. And I know I’m not strong and I know I’m not sure and I know I know too little, but... would you have dinner with me? No, wait: I know the answer. |
