| Jonathan Berger's Poetry: Poem of the Day |
| I WANT TO SEE YOU I want to see you tonight. Please don't ask me WHY I want to see you tonight, because, well, I don't tend to function well under that kind of pressure. But, but, but I want to see you tonight. I REALLY want to see you tonight. I want to see you tonight because you complete parts of me I thought were missing, or, you know, didn't really know at all, I want to see you tonight because I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep without it. I want to see you tonight because things are better when you're around or when I think you're going to be around, or when there's the possibility that you MIGHT be around. I want to see you tonight because I want to see you every night and every day and every moment in that little twilight period between and that dawn period in the morning– I'm not sure what it's called… maybe dawn, I dunno – but, I definitely want to see you tonight. I want to see you tonight, please. I want to see you tonight, I insist. I want to see you tonight; make it so. I want to see you tonight, because, because, because, well, I - Dammit, I just want to see you tonight, all right? |
