| Jonathan Berger's Poetry: Poem of the Day |
| AN ALTERNATE REALITY In an alternate reality we are at each other's throats literally tenaciously tenderly clawing each others eyes out with our tongues as we try to eradicate any evidence of the other's existence. In an alternate reality we fight and vie for supremacy over the others' heart, mind, hand and soul in toto or pieces, as necessary. Our combat is extreme, and exciting, and embattled eternally, as everybody around us asks us to just GET OVER IT. In an alternate reality, we are truly one as our body intertwine struggling sweating searching to destroy no stooges between us to stop us from seeking an ending, an ending absolute and irrevocable, an ending. An ending. In an alternate reality called tomorrow. |
