I am originally from Little Chute now residing in Wittenberg. My music career began in the Fox Valley at age 13. As a guitar player in one of the only all girl bands from Wisconsin called "The She 5", we started playing throughout the state at teen clubs and nightclubs. In 1968 at age 15, we traveled to Vietnam, Korea, Tailand, and Taiwan, entertaining the troops. This was and still is one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I am very proud to have been able to bring smiles to our GIs, with our music "from the World".  After the She 5 split up in the fall of 1969, I played for several years with other bands traveling to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Canada, Florida, North and South Carolina, Georgia and  several mid-west tours. I eventually got tired of living out of a suitcase. It really is a grind out there on the road. I got a "regular" job, met my husband Mike and settled in Wittenberg. Quite a drastic change! After a few years of not playing, the "music itch" got to me again. I don't think it ever goes away. I joined the Tigerton Folk Choir and started doing side jobs with Tammie and Peggy calling ourselves Chambray. The addition of Deidre Schmidt-Brady with her many talents completed the group. My other passions in life besides music are, quilting, woodworking, doing volunteer work, riding my motorcycle, still traveling, and having fun with friends.  I've  been married to Mike (who saw the She-5 in Vietnam) for 35 years, and have two grown sons, Troy and Todd.  "My biggest dream was to record, and thanks to Chambray, this was made possible." It's been a fun ride!
