Peggy Miller

I was one of 5 children raised near the village of Tigerton. Singing was something we did: old work songs with my grandpa, everlasting rounds on car trips, 4-H groups at the fair, church services, and school chorus. I began playing guitar in my early teens when folk music was everywhere. As an adult, I began playing and song leading in church, and that's how Tammie and I teamed up long ago! We organized a community choir, singing folk music around the area. Dar joined us, and we began doing music as a threesome that became Chambray. We were not complete until a chance phone call brought Deidre into the group. It wasn't long before our music became a strong bond and a safe place, allowing us to grow as musicains, song writers, and friends.
Dennis and I have been married for 37 years. We have a son Justin and a grandson Kaeden (the inspiration for "Kaeden's Song). My guys support and encourage my music and Chambray, and I am so thankful for that!
I have taught kindergarten for 31 years, giving me lots of opportunity for song throughout my day. I also love to paint, quilt, garden, and learn new songs!
