Harbour Cruise, March 2004

On Friday the 5th March 2004, we spent an outrageous night of entertainment on Sydney’s breathtaking harbour. The purpose of the cruise was to raise money for Canteen (see www.canteen.com.au for more detail). 76 people (including 4 stowaways) helped raise $1500 together with the sensational people at Affordable Harbour Cruises who contributed a fair donation themselves. It was a Semi Formal dress event costing $50 pp which covered the Cruise, Light Food, Music, Dancing, Beer, Wine and Soft-drink.

We met for pre-drinks at 5:30pm, Cargo Bar, which is just in front of where we boarded the M.V. Aqua Queen, King Street Wharf 6. I greeted people as they boarded and turned many away trying to enter the wrong boat. Unfortunately, I did not catch 4 stowaways who took the liberty to enjoy our entertainment, grog and food (which Sal & I slaved all day preparing - never again!).

This was a top night and I'll have to try and grab some other people's film as below are shots of only some who joined us ...
