Honolulu

Like My memory of this trip, the majority of our photos have been lost. It's only 5 years ago! I struggle to remember much more than fat Americans, Spam, beautiful landscapes, some awesome surf, buying BBall shoes, relaxing times and Pearl Harbour.

I do remember this being the first place I super-sized a meal at McDonalds. I do enjoy maccas, but crickey! (Steve Erwin style) I can't eat that much. 12 hours later I was still drinking the coke. And once we had endless pancakes for breaky. hahaha - neither of us got through one plate!

We spent a few days in Honolulu (where I got a couple of Nike sweatshop shoes for half the price I would have in Aus) and most of our holiday in Maui. It really is a lovely region of the world, with pleasant locals and easy roads. We hired a car and wasn't that an experience - driving on the right side of the road. Especially those left runs when you are used to only looking right, IE easy to get smashed as you forget to look left.
