They dont let Red into the room. That makes him angry, because he wants to watch the battle, and its not fair that he accidentally threw his ice cream at the last opponent who started calling Father bad names, and it was enough to give his pokmon a distraction so that Hakuryuu could take him out with Hakai Beam!

In any case, they wont even let him watch the T.V., and Lorelei gives him a sympathetic smile and he storms into her room, away from security.

I know. She soothes. I know.

She holds him, and he plays with her hair, which is pretty, but nothing like Fathers beautiful locks. Her Dewgong and three baby Seels are splashing in the icy pool, and its quite peaceful, but hes still worried.

Lorelei smiles at him. Want to get ice cream?

He nods, and they fix themselves scoops in the kitchen and moments later, Lance stalks in, cape swirling behind him, gold highlights shimmering of his hair as he makes for the percolator.

Father?

Im fine. Lance smiles, as he finishes with the coffee. He didnt really stand a chance. He flashes a fanged grin, and Red cheers, since he knows his Father is the best trainer in the League.

Father kisses him then, and Red tastes like innocence and chocolate ice cream, and Lorelei just grins and leaves the room.

And Reds not anxious any more.
