Storms in Sootopolis City were always a dangerous affair. Wallace bolted the small windows closed, while Steven helped, securing the door with the storm bolts. It seemed that he would be trapped here until the gale blew itself out. Heavy rain fell, fat droplets splashing past the windowpanes and inundating the cobblestone roads. Sootopolis was notorious for a long rainy season, and being built on a small island, they were always in danger of flooding. Steven felt much the same way, though it was a bit safer in Mossdeep than here.
Wallace smiled. It looks like you will have to be my guest for a while longer, Steven.
Steven flipped a hand in dismissal. I dont mind. Youre charming company.
Faint pink tinted the Sootopolis gym leaders cheeks. If he didnt know better, he would have sworn that the Champion was being quite flirtatious. But they would be alone together
Steven closed the gap between them, smiling predatorily as he pulled Wallace towards him, kissing the surprised man. Wallaces blue eyes flashed in challenge, as he kissed back, winding his arms about Stevens waist.
Perhaps his lover had the right idea and they hadnt had the pleasure of each others company in quite a while
And while the storm raged outside, inside, a storm of different sorts was brewing, as emotion simmered and peaked around them, quiet cries and breathy moans a complement to the seas melody.
