Degin Sodo Zabi: When Char's Father Daikun died in UC 0068. Degin told that the revered leader had told him with his dying breath to name Degin himself as his successor. The next year Degin founded the Duchy of Zeon and declared himself Archduke. Degin was accused of having the power by assassination! With secure control over the Duchy, Degin began preparations for war against the Federation.

Giren Zabi: Giren is the oldest son of the Zabi family. With his strong presence, gift of words, and a very high IQ, he has no problem in removing his father and taking control of the Duchy of Zeon. With the power he'd rather have a war of independence or even conquest, Giren sees the time is right to start population control, by removing those who are "dead weight" .

Dozul Zabi: Another son of Degin Zabi, Dozul is like.... wow..... o_o. HUGE. A lust for battle Dozul spends his time at Solomon launching attacks against the Federation space fleet. But despite his looks, Dozul is a married man with a Wife and infant Daughter. Dozul does not get along with his sister Kishiria the most.

Kishiria Zabi: Degin's only daughter is a strong woman who has to put up with both Giren and Dozul. She is the commander of the Mobile Assault Force and the Supervisor of Garma's Earth attack force. Later on she becomes a part of Newtype research and joins up with Char whom she beileves has some Newtype abliites. She later, like Char wears a mask.

Garma Zabi: The youngest of the group, Garma is very, very, very beautiful. ^_^; Garma attends the Duchy of Zeon's Military academy with Char. Later Garma becomes commander of the Earth Attack Force. His Father Degin had high hopes on making Garma his Heir, but Garma is in love with Icelina Eschonbach and is willing to give up everything to be with her. Sadly Char never gives Garma the chance to elope.
