BREAKY SHOW

i knew there was a reason for me waking up at some ungodly hour! but typical macq students didn't start arriving till after 6, so i was there like monstrously early thanks to the advice of my friends in newcastle. but at least we got choice seating on the floor LOL

oh boy, you missed an absolutely fukking awesome show bug...did u catch any of it? the real highlight of the day tho had to be at about 8.15, where this fukking brave guy (a student of macq no less) got up on the stage, to contest the challenge to do the sexiest strip to nine inch nails "Closer" (you know the song...i wanna fukk you like an animal!) it was the best strip, nae the only strip i have seen of a total stranger! (well aint such a stranger now!) he took the shirt off, fine. he took the belt off, even better. then off came the shoes, and the pants and he was standing around in his undies, showing us his cheeks, until some chick ran on stage and we saw the full monty! holy cow! now i feel kinda sorry for him, becoz as a macq student, he's never gonna live it down. not sorry enough that i didnt rib him when he got back down. *grins*  but he got $55 out of it!

the other highlight was king jerky. a mad mad englishman, whose parents don't know what the hell their son is up to in australia (i spoke to him afterwards and he was telling me disgusting stuff about shoving firecrackers up his arse). anyway he is basically a self mutilator....he shoved a syringe through his neck, a macq fork up his nostril, a coat hanger through his nose with pair boots hanging off it) and stapled a $5 note to his head. and for his finale, he swung a 16 pound bowling ball from his erm willy. LOL and then he had the tenacity to lift up his kilt for us to see more! charming....

what else? oh my friend managed to destroy the j beachball that was going around, and i got sandman, adam and will anderson (he's the guy in the maxibon ad!) to sign a free cd i got. also heckled adam about manchester united being so crap. *grins* oh and now i have to attempt to peel the j stickers i or someone else managed to plaster all over my legs...

pollyanna were great, if not a little bit serious about the whole affair (they didn't even crack a smile when that guy got dakked), but stellar one eleven were great there. sandy and robbie buck (in his brilliantly bright yellow ruffled shirt and john travolta saturday night fever belt buckle) were the crowd faves, each doing this brilliant dance numbers during the songs.

but adam spencer...the guy's a legend! funny, articulate and smart, his only downfall is being a man united supporter. nothing more to say about him, except he did a fantastic job, especially at giving out those j condoms. hehehe

oh yeh, karen barlow is really quite pretty (thats coming from a gerl and all) except i still can't stand the way she says "aw-stralia". but thats nothing to get ulcers over.
