Note: Same panel layout as part one.

Page 1

Panels 1 and 2: Jesse is sitting on the couch, looking very uncomfortable.

Jesse: So, Doc, what’s new?

Panels 3 and 4: The Therapist looks horrible. She looks tired and has a cast on her right arm.

Therapist: I’m seeing my therapist three times a week now. And I broke my arm.

Panel 5: Jesse raises an eyebrow.

Jesse: Running from a group of teenagers downtown that wanted to rob and rape you, right? What did they call you? “A little old, but still worth a fuck.”

Panel 6: Therapist looks shocked.

Therapist: How?

Panels 1-6: Splash page. Jesse sits back and stares at her.

Jesse: I imagined it four days ago. Convinced yet?

Panel 1: The therapist looks a little shaken.

Therapist: That you’re the Anti-Christ?

Panel 2: Close-up of Jesse’s eyes. They look very dark.

Jesse: Yes.

Panel 3: The therapist looks uncertain. Looks to her side as if thinking.

Panel 4: She looks back at him.

Therapist: I don’t know.

Panel 5: Jesse lays down on the couch.

Jesse: Did you know that I had hundreds of different parents as a kid?

Panel 6: Jesse looks right up at us.

Jesse: Yeah, depending on what my latest interest was, my parents would change to suit it. Like when I was really into baseball, they were semi-professionals. When I was into being a cop, they were. They were always the same people, just different.

Panel 1: Jesse smiles a nervous grin.

Jesse: It wasn’t until I was ten that I found out all parents weren’t like mine. My best friend had the same parents, day in and day out for all his life. I thought it to be very weird. That’s when I found out all parents were like that and I was the weird one.

Panel 2: The therapist has her head in her hand as Jesse continues to talk.

Jesse(off panel): My first girlfriend was pretty damn freaked when I was eighteen and my parents went from being white, middle-aged physicists to black, twenty-something rappers.

Panel 3: Jesse looks up at the readers.

Jesse: She dumped me on the spot and got hit by a car on the way home.

Panel 4: Same type pic.

Jesse: I caused it to happen, you know. I was 18 and she dumped me, can you blame me for thinking nasty things about her? But then she was . . .

Panels 5 and 6: Wide shot of the entire office. Both are silent. Jesse looks very depressed.

Panel 1: Jesse sits up.

Jesse: I’m not a bad guy, Doc. I don’t want things like that to happen. It’s like I can’t control my thoughts most of the time. A jet in England is going to crash into Buckingham Palace because of me tomorrow.

Panel 2: Jesse stands up.

Jesse: I can’t let this continue.

Panel 3: Outside the building and man wearing a trench coat enters.

Panel 4: He walks into the lobby and heads for the receptionist.

Panel 5: He stops at her desk.

Panel 6: He opens his trench coat to reveal a bomb. He looks a little crazy. The receptionist begins to stand up to run.

Panels 1-4: A large panel of the building exploding.

Panel 5: Totally black.

Panel 6: Welcome to heaven. In front of us is a guy wearing a loose black suit. He sort of resembles Elijah Snow from Planetary if he dressed in black. Black hair. He has dark looking eyes, too. This is the Angel of Death.

Jesse is in front of him, looking as he did when we last saw him.

The location looks like the lobby of an office building.

Death: So, Anti-Christ, you did it. You chose to die rather than cause pain in the world. Welcome to Heaven, you won’t be staying.
