Welcome to Chibi Ningyo's Anime Dollmaker! I hope this tutorial helps you get started.
About the DollmakerThis dollmaker program was made using Macromedia Director. In order to use it, you may need to download and install the proper Flash plugin. The program includes a "help" menu, with detailed instructions, but it should be fairly easy to figure out even without reading them. Unfortunately it may take a while for the Dollmaker to load. (Expect around 6 minutes for a 56K dialup modem)
Saving Your Dolls
In order to save, you will have to take a "screenshot" of your finished doll. To do this on a PC, find the "Prt Scr" button (which stands for "Print Screen"). Pushing this button takes sort of a "Snapshot" of whatever happens to be on your computer screen at the time. Next, you will need to open a painting or graphics program of some sort (Like MS Paint or Photoshop), and paste the screenshot onto a new file. You can then crop off the extra background around your doll, and save it. (I reccomend saving it as a .gif file, but .jpg and .bmp files will work as well.)
