Brownie Mounds

1/3 c Butter, softened
3/4 c Sugar
1/3 c Light Corn Syrup
1 Egg
3 oz Unsweetened Chocolate, melted
1 t Vanilla
1 2/3 c Flour
1/2 t Baking Powder
1/4 t Salt
1/2 c Walnuts, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add corn syrup and egg, beat well.
Stir in chocolate and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt, add to chocolate mixture.
Stir in walnuts.
Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a greased baking sheet.
Bake at for 10 - 12 minutes or until edges are firm.
Remove to wire racks and cool completely.
