Chocolate Caramel
Brownie Bars

14 oz Caramel Candies
1/2 c Evaporated Milk
1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
3/4 c Butter, melted
1/3 c Evaporated Milk
1 c Nuts, chopped
1 c Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine caramels and 1/3 c evaporated milk in a double boiler.
Cook over low heat until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth.
Set aside.
Combine dry cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 c evaporated milk, and nuts.
Mixture will be very thick.
Spread half of mixture into the bottom of a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan.
Bake for 8 minutes.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over the baked brownie.
Drizzle the caramel mixture over the chocolate chips.
Spoon the remaining batter over the caramel and gently spread.
Return to oven and bake an additional 18-20 minutes.
Cool completely before cutting.
