Chocolate Cherry Cake

1 Devils Food Cake Mix
21 oz Cherry Pie Filling
1 t Almond Extract
2 Eggs, beaten
1 c Sugar
5 T Butter
1/3 c Milk
6 oz Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix cake mix, cherry pie filling, almond, and eggs by hand with spatula until well-blended.
Turn into greased and floured 9 X 13 inch pan.
Bake 25 - 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Let cool and cut into squares before adding icing.
To make icing, combine sugar, butter, and milk in saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat and add chocolate chips.
Stir until melted.
Pour over cake and spread.
