Chocolate Chip

1 1/2 c | Flour |
1 1/2 c | Oatmeal |
1 c | Brown Sugar |
1/2 t | Baking Soda |
1/4 t | Salt |
1 c | Butter |
3/4 c | Caramel Topping |
3 T | Flour |
1 c | Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips |
1/2 c | Nuts, chopped |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine 1 1/2 c flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and butter to form a crumbly mixture.
Press half into the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch pan.
Bake for 10 minutes.
While baking, combine caramel and flour. Set aside.
Remove crust from oven and sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips.
Pour caramel mixture over crust and sprinkle with
other half of crumbly mixture.
Bake an additional 15-20 minutes or until golden.
Cool, cut into bars, and refrigerate.
