Chocolate Chip
Toffee Squares

4 1/2 c Oats
1 T Vanilla
1 c Brown Sugar, packed
3/4 c Butter, melted
1/2 c Light Corn Syrup
1/2 t Salt
2/3 c Nuts, chopped
2 c Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Grease 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan.
Combine oats, brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, vanilla and salt. Mix well.
Firmly press mixture into prepared pan, bake about 18 minutes or until mixture is brown and bubbly.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over toffee.
Let stand 10 minutes until chocolate melts.
Spread chocolate evenly over toffee, and sprinkle with nuts. Cool completely.
Cut into squares and store tightly covered in cool, dry place.
