Chocolate Layer Pie |

| 2 | Egg Yolks |
| 2 c | Milk, divided |
| 1/2 c | Sugar |
| 1/3 c | Flour |
| 1/4 t | Salt |
| 1 T | Butter |
| 3/4 t | Vanilla |
| 1/2 c | Chocolate Chips |
| 1/4 c | Pecans, chopped |
| Pre-Baked Pie Crust | |
Mix yolks and 1/4 c milk in double boiler. Mix in 1/2 c sugar, flour, and salt. Add remaining milk and mix well.
Cook until thick, about 6-7 minutes. Cover and cook 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
Pour into pre-baked pie shell and refrigerate 4 hours. Store in refrigerator.
