Chocolate Mint Delights

2 c Flour
2/3 c Butter
1 1/2 c Sugar, divided
1/2 c Peppermint Candies, crushed
1 t Vanilla
10 oz Semisweet Chocolate Chips, melted
1 Egg
1 t Baking Soda
2 T Light Corn Syrup
1/8 t Salt

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream together butter and 3/4 c of sugar. Add melted chocolate, corn syrup, egg, and vanilla. Stir well. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir well. Stir in crushed peppermint candies.
Shape dough into balls and toll in remaining sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
