Chocolate Oatmeal Cake |

| 1 c | Rolled Oats |
| 1 3/4 c | Boiling Water |
| 1 c | Brown Sugar |
| 1 c | Sugar |
| 1/2 c | Margarine, softened |
| 2 | Eggs, beaten |
| 1 t | Vanilla |
| 1 t | Baking Soda |
| 3 T | Cocoa |
| 1 3/4 c | Flour |
| 2 c | Chocolate Chips |
| 1 c | Nuts, chopped |
| Powdered Sugar | |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In mixing bowl, combine rolled oats with boiling water; let stand 10 minutes.
Beat brown sugar, sugar, and margarine into oats.
Add eggs, vanilla, soda, cocoa, flour, and 1 c chocolate chips.
Beat together well.
Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
Top with remaining chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake 35 minutes.
When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
