1 c | Margerine |
1/2 c | Shortening |
3 c | Sugar |
1 t | Vanilla |
5 | Eggs |
1/2 t | Baking Powder |
1/2 t | Salt |
5 T | Cocoa |
1 c | Sour Milk |
1/2 t | Baking Soda |
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Dissolve soda in sour milk and set aside.
Cream together sugar, shortening, and margerine. Add eggs and beat. Sift together dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk to sugar mixture. Beat in vanilla.
Bake in angel food pan for 80 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream or top with glaze.
