Chocolate Pudding Cake |

3/4 c + 1/2 c | Sugar, divided |
1 c | Flour |
2 t | Baking Powder |
1/8 t | Salt |
1 (1 0z) square | Unsweetened Chocolate |
2 T | Butter |
1/2 c | Milk |
1/2 t | Vanilla |
1 c | Cold Water |
1/2 c | Brown Sugar |
4 T | Cocoa |
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler. Mix 3/4 c sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and vanilla together and beat in chocolate.
Pour batter into buttered 9 inch square pan.
Mix together remaining 1/2 c sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa. Sprinkle over batter and then pour water over the top. DO NOT STIR.
Bake for 40 minutes and cool completely.
