Chocolate Walnut Cake |

1 c | Shortening |
2 c | Sugar |
5 | Eggs |
1/2 c | Cocoa |
2 1/2 c | Flour |
1/2 t | Salt |
1 t | Baking Soda |
1 c | Sour Milk |
2 t | Vanilla |
1 c | Walnuts, chopped |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together shortening and sugar. Mix in eggs and blend well. Sift together cocoa, flour, salt, and soda. Stir into sugar mixture until well blended. Mix in sour milk and vanilla until well blended. Mix in walnuts.
Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch pan.
Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
