Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Slice the first tube of cookie dough in rounds and place in a round 10 inch pan, covering the bottom. Cream the cream cheese, sugar, and egg together. Spread over cookie dough. Slice second tube of cookie dough and cover the cream cheese layer. Bits of cream cheese will show through. Bake for 1 hour. Cool to room temperature. Chill overnight. Cut into slices or squares.
