Favorite Chocolate Cake |

4 (1oz) bars | Unsweeted Chocolate, melted and cooled |
2 c | Sugar |
1/2 c | Butter or Margerine |
1 c | Milk |
1/2 c | Water |
2 | Eggs |
1 T | Lemon Juice or White Vinegar |
1 t | Vanilla |
2 c | Flour |
1 t | Baking Powder |
1 t | Baking Soda |
1/4 t | Salt |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat sugar and butter in large mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients except chocolate and beat until well blended. Beat in melted chocolate.
Pour batter into 13x9 inch square or 2 (9 inch) round greased and floured pans. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for 20 minutes and remove to wire rack. Cool completely before frosting.
