Fox Hunter's Pie

1 Pie Crust
1/4 c Butter, softened
1 c Sugar
3 Eggs
3/4 c Light Corn Syrup
1 1/2 t Vanilla
1/4 t Salt
2 T Bourbon, optional
1 c Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 c Pecans, coarsely chopped

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Fit pie crust into a 9 inch pan. Fold edges under and crimp.
Freeze crust for 15 minutes.
Bake crust for 6-8 minutes or until golden. Cool on wire rack.
Reduce heat to 350 degrees.
Beat butter at medium speed until creamy.
Gradually add sugar and beat well.
Add eggs, corn syrup, vanilla, salt, and bourbon if using. Beat just until blended.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans in crust. Pour filling over.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until pie is set. Cool on wire rack.
