German Chocolate Cake |

3/4 c | Butter |
2 1/2 c | Sugar |
1 1/2 t | Vanilla |
3 | Eggs, beaten |
1 1/2 c | Ice Water |
1 (1 oz) pkg | Sweet German Chocolate, melted |
3 c | Flour |
1 1/2 t | Baking Soda |
3/4 t | Salt |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs until light and fluffy and mix in chocolate. Sift together dry ingredients. Alternate adding dry ingredients and ice water into chocolate mixture.
Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch square or 3 (8 or 9 inch) round pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
