| 2 1/4 c | Flour |
| 1 t | Baking Soda |
| 1 t | Salt |
| 1 c | Shortening |
| 2 | Eggs, beaten |
| 3/4 c | Sugar |
| 3/4 c | Brown Sugar |
| 1 t | Vanilla |
| 1/2 t | Water |
| 6 oz | Chocolate Chips |
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together except chocolate chips.
Spread batter into a greased and floured 9 inch pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips top. Bake for 2-3 minutes. Run knife through batter to marble. Return to oven and bake 12-14 minutes or until set.
Cool completely before cutting.
