Quick Cocoa Cake |

| 1/2 c | Shortening |
| 1 c | Sugar |
| 1 | Egg |
| 4 T | Cocoa |
| 1 c | Flour |
| 1 t | Baking Soda |
| 1 c | Warm Milk |
| 1 T | Vinegar |
| 1 1/2 t | Vanilla |
| 1/8 t | Salt |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix vinegar in warm milk and let set for 5 minutes, then dissolve soda in milk.
Cream together sugar, shortening, eggs, and vanilla. Mix in remaining ingredients and beat well.
Pour batter into greased and floured 9 inch square pan.
Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
