Super Duper Chocolate Cookies |

| 1/2 c | Shortening |
| 4 (1 oz) squares | Unsweetened Chocolate |
| 2 c | Sugar |
| 2 t | Vanilla |
| 4 | Eggs |
| 2 c | Flour |
| 2 t | Baking Powder |
| 1/8 t | Salt |
| 1/2 c | Nuts, chopped |
| Powdered Sugar, for dipping | |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together shortening, sugar, and melted chocolate. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Mix in sifted dry ingredients (except powdered sugar). Chill dough for 1 hour.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls and roll each ball in powdered sugar.
Place balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheets sprayed with nonstick spray.
Bake 12-15 minutes or until set. Let cookies cool slightly and remove to wire rack.
