Baker's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla
3 eggs
3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups Baker's semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans of walnuts (optional)
Method:
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- Beat butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy.
- Mix in flour, baking soda and salt by hand until well blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by heaping teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Makes about 7 dozen.
