My Feathered Friends



AF is my 5yr old cat. Peepers is aprox. 3wks old.

Peepers is trying to get AF's attention.

May '00. Two Mallards. I only had them for 2mths, then they got stolen.

Peepers-Flying Mallard, Pip-Bronze Broad Breasted Turkey, Frizzlebutt-1/2 Light Brahma 1/2 Japanese White Silkie Bantam.

Pip and Frizzlebutt were raised in the same brooder, and became inseperable friends.

Peepers looking for bugs.

June 2000. Peepers and Pip cooling off on a hot day.

June 2000. Peepers wants to swim under water, but Pip has had enough for one day.

Ray-Cornish X-Rock Rooster, Miss Priss Araucana Hen, Red Sil-Go-Link Hen, Goldie Golden Comet Hen.

Ray never crowed, even once, until his ladies were taken away from him.

Precious- 1/2 Belgium Bantam 1/2 Japanese White Silkie Bantam, Puddin'-1/2 White Silkie Bantam 1/2 ?.

The story of "Precious"
Pip "The Swimming Turkey" later developed a severe leg problem, and eventually had to be put down. I miss him greatly. =o(
Peepers was best friends with my cat. They would play for hours everyday.
Frizzlebutt was such a ham when it came to showing off.
Ray, Goldie, Miss Priss, and Red fell under some silly city ordinance (as did Peepers and Frizzlebutt); Saying that I could not keep poultry witin the city limits. I found them a new home on a friend's ranch.
Precious, Puddin', and Chooka hatched (in a small incubator in the house) the day before I got the silly city ordinance.
Puddin', and Chooka turned out to be roosters; And I could not take the chance that a neighbor would hear them crowing, so I found them new homes.
Precious still resides with me, inside the house, to this day.
