Angel was our pick from our very first litter and was a lovely bitch with all the attributes that we felt we needed to build our kennel, sadly she didn't like the showring but she did love puppies and produced four litters - two of our planning and two she chose for herself! Angel had two silent heats, one at quite a young age - she told Rocky and no-one else...a lovely litter duly arrived from which we eventually got Roxy. Angels second silent heat was more of a problem as she was over eight years of age and this time chose Thomas, we didn't believe she could be in pup but she was and presented us with a single puppy - Hayley! From her 'planned' matings Angel gave us two lovely litters and we kept Zac from one and Jemma from the other. Angel was a very gentle loving girl and even in her old age got a new lease on life when there were puppies around. Everything from Fortress Kennels has her in their lines and through the generations I can see the stamp of Angel - particularly in the red bitches.
Angel lived on to a good old age and was awarded her Veteran Ribbon by SIBC.
